This was me a few years back. Let me tell you this: You deserve a fresh start, and all of the confidence and peace that boundaries can bring into your life.

 

I need to be really clear: There is no quick fix when it comes to boundary-setting. You’re well practiced at your way of being in this world. And in some areas it serves you so very well; in other areas it has stopped serving you altogether.

Through this program, you will have a chance to create a new beginning, a focused starting point in your boundary work. And I will coach you both lovingly and firmly through the process.

Module 1:

Laying the Groundwork for Your Boundaries Success. In the first part of the course you will connect with your why? With loving arms, you will explore your personal relationship with boundaries and what has brought you to this learning space, as well as set realistic, attainable goals upon completion of the 8-week period and beyond.

Module 2:

Boundaries: Here, There, and Everywhere. Boundaries are central to just about everything and, in week 2, you will explore their vast nature - what they are and are not (hint: boundaries are not about control). You will take a deep dive into the 6 types of boundaries and how they show up in your life.

Module 3:

Boundaries and Me: Self-awareness is the key to your boundaries success. In week 3, you will discover the roles you play and how they contribute to your relationship dynamics and boundaries outcomes. You will clarify your core values as a means to explore areas for growth in your boundaries quest.

Module 4:

The Four-Step Boundary Setting Process: While there is no-one-size-fits-all approach to boundary-setting, the 4-step Everyday Boundaries model is a good starting point to help you begin to set appropriate, effective and compassionate boundaries. You will learn to connect with your feelings, identify your needs and learn when and how to set boundaries that leave you feeling aligned.

Module 5:

Personal Barriers to Setting Boundaries. You will explore the difficulties that arise for you when setting boundaries including understanding your personal narratives about boundaries, your prior experiences setting them, overcoming guilt, and people-pleasing tendencies.

Module 6:

What Really Happens When You Begin to Set Boundaries? Learn what you may encounter from others when you start setting boundaries in your life. You will examine the various ways others may experience you and receive your boundaries.

Module 7:

When Boundary-Setting Goes “Bad”. Even when you feel you’ve done all the right things, setting boundaries may produce unanticipated outcomes. In week 7 you will learn what recovery in boundary-setting looks like when setting boundaries and how to deal with boundary violations. You will learn the gift of the boundary challenger and other roadblocks and blunders you may encounter on the journey.

Module 8:

Boundaries for Life: In your final week of the course, you will develop a language and vocabulary that will help you set everyday boundaries. You will also look beyond the act of “setting boundaries” and examine boundaries as a framework for your new life and as a means to sustain your new beginning.

 How it all works:

Enroll
Once your enrollment is complete you will receive immediate access to begin the course once the program launches. You will also receive an email confirmation with additional helpful information about the course and program. As soon as you begin the course, new modules become available to you weekly. You will have access to the course for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Course Delivery
The course is delivered online through the MemberVault learning management system. The platform is mobile responsive which expands your learning opportunities. Live recorded video and audio lessons are the primary facilitation modalities for this class. You will log into your course and complete a series of modules and individual lessons within those modules. Modules are released weekly to keep you focused throughout the program.

Support
There will be guided exercises and reflection throughout the course that will support and enhance your learning. You will be invited to join our private Everyday Boundaries Facebook community with others who are taking or have completed the course. Additionally, those enrolled in the course will be invited to participate in a monthly boundaries Q & A coaching call. Social media & blog posts available throughout the year for continuous engagement.

I’ve studied this, I teach it, and I currently apply these practices to my own life. I have a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Counseling, and certifications as a Professional Life Coach and Health Coach. You will see the interplay of education, counseling and coaching throughout the 8-week program. I’ve pulled the resources together for you so you can stop trying to find the right book, article, quote, etc., and just focus on your journey. I’ll be right beside you in the virtual space drawing upon real life experiences to aid you in your learning.

Do I need prior knowledge to be successful in this course?

No! This course is perfect for those beginning their boundaries journey and for those who have been doing some work on their own but keep finding themselves stuck! We will walk through the fundamentals together and then go for a deeper dive into the work as the course progresses.

Where do I get access to the private Facebook group?

Once you sign up for the course, you will receive an invitation with a link to join the Facebook community.

How much time should I dedicate to the course each week?

The course is self-paced providing you with the flexibility to complete the course when it works best for you. It is suggested that you carve out 90 mins - 2 hours weekly to review materials and complete the course activities. You can expect to spend additional time in thoughtful reflection throughout the week.

How long will I have access to my course and it’s materials?

All courses are available for one year from the purchase date.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes! You will have an option to pay in full or split your payment into two equal payments.

Am I eligible for a refund?

We would like to make this as risk-free as possible. If for whatever reason you're unhappy with the course, please reach out to us at erin@myeverydayboundaries.com within 9 days of your purchase date (not 9 days after you choose to begin the course) so that we can understand the issue and/or answer questions for you. If you would like to discontinue the course and receive a refund during this time period, we are happy to refund your payment in full. Note that we are not responsible for refunding bank or interest charges that you incur as a result of your purchase. Bank delays should be taken into account when anticipating a refund.

There will be no refunds for any reason after the 9-day purchase window has passed. Example: Purchase date: January 1. Eligibility for refund expires January 10 at 11:59pm. No refunds issued after this date. Payment plan payments will continue to be scheduled as per the agreement.

How long will it take before I see results?

Our desire is to see you make lasting changes in your life however, humans are dynamic, our situations are unique, and we cannot guarantee a specific outcome or specific results in good consciousness. What we feel confident saying however, is that deep learning can take place if you keep showing up and doing the work. As you probably well know, there are ups and downs in any boundaries journey but you will be well on your way to lasting positive changes in your life if you are committed to implementing the strategies learned in the program.

 Is this course right for you?

This course is perfect for those new to boundary work or those who have done some work but want to learn and receive guidance in a more structured learning environment. Whether you’re single or in a relationship, you are welcome. We will learn essential boundary skills necessary that you can use in all areas of your life.

This course is not recommended if you are looking for a drive thru experience. While you may cover the material at your own pace, you should have an interest in engaging in the practices throughout the course and be prepared to continue to implement them in your life once the course is completed.
